Our group has joined Q-NEXT, a U.S. Department of Energy National Quantum Information Science Research Center led by Argonne National Laboratory in partnership with SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. We look forward to new science uniquely enabled by this exciting opportunity!
Our group has received the Department of Energy (DOE) Early Career Research Program (ECRP) award to explore new superconducting quantum devices over the next five years. Congratulations to the team!
The lab construction took 2.5 years.
Good things don't come easy.
It is equipped with 9T-1T-1T vector magnet, optical window & fiber, bottom-loading fast sample exchange, RC & RF filters, while the base temperature reaches 7.9 mK!
"Dr. Song is recognized for his efforts in developing and employing various measurement techniques at low temperatures and in magnetic fields to study 2D superconductivity and magnetism in van der Waals heterostructures. His works have uncovered a series of emergent quantum phenomena in 2D superconducting and magnetic systems." Check out the news and interview.
